There once was a time when property was purchased and contracts were sealed with only a hand shake and a person’s “word”. Those days are long gone. Those Were the days and times of trust, integrity and honesty. Those were times when a person’s “word” meant something. Times when a person’s word were more respected and more valuable than money. Times when their “word “was their bond. Today, “truth and rightness” have long since gone and what we now have in their place are lies, deceit, manipulation and trickery.
The answer my friend is not like that old song use to say; “blowing in the wind”. The answer is simple and basic. Because it involves just getting back to the basics. The basics of realizing and seeing that because of the first “Adam’s sin” all of humanity was born with a selfish sin nature which produces off springs (for no fault of their own) that are inevitably and continuously wicked, corrupt and immoral and are unable to save themselves and refuse to see the need for a Savior.
However; “truth and fact” have shown that when people get tired of their sin nature ruling and controlling their lives; many will ultimately and sincerely cry out to God for help. Then by invitation He will surely step in and come through for them. Giving them the peace, the guidance and standing grace with unconditional love that all of mankind needs and desires in order to live a successful spirit filled life using their lifestyle and their “word “to honor and glorify Jesus, (who is the true and living word).
When this happens, then and only then will the “word” regain its status and begin to get and receive the respect and support that it once had. Until then the” flesh” will continue to rule and dominate in every area of your life and the “words” that comes out of your mouth will have no value or substance to stand on. Therefore; our words should always reflect and mirror what the Bible says about God’s word; that His word will never fail nor return void.
Supporting Scriptures:
Luke 1:37 KJV

Isaiah 55:11 KJV
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Think About It
Hebrews 10:23 ((TLB)
Now we can look forward to the salvation
God has promised us. There is no longer any room for doubt,
and we can tell others that salvation is ours,
for there is no question that he will do what he says.

Scripture: Romans 10:9-10 KJV:
- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.
- For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
Brief prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead. I now repent of my sins and ask that you come into my life and save me, creating the vessel you desire for me to be in Jesus’s name, Amen!
