Greetings beloved! Thank you so very much for stopping by today. I would like to share something very important that I feel that a lot of folks are thinking about but really don’t know how to process it or put their thoughts and feelings into prospective.
Therefore, I would just like to put my spoonful of thoughts out there and say that I am thinking of a metaphor that truly reflects this unpredictable, chaotic, immoral moment of time in which we are living. That could possibly sum up the events that has given birth to the thoughts of many and shine the light on a lot of unnecessary fearful feelings that many are experiencing very quickly and that is” birth pains”. “Birth pains” is a phase that many “faith base” believers may use when referring to the constant, on-going, sometimes daily twisted, unprovoked violence, natural and man-made disasters that are happening in the news and around the world, day in and day out.
With the back drop of the scripture; Matthew 24: 6-8 ESV: Which says; (6) And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. (7) For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. (8) All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
According to “Grammarly”: a metaphor is a figure of speech that describes an object or an action in a way that isn’t literally true, but helps explain an idea. However, true to form; in this passage I’m not literally talking about an actual woman pain in child birth but to vividly showcase and mirror the similar close, frequent and increasingly recurring, severe issues, incidents and tragedies that are characteristic of the “birth pains” experienced in and during child birth.
I am talking about the frequent, devastating, unparalleled occurrences of man-made disasters such as oil or chemical spills, melt downs and more. Especially natural disasters such as; Tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes., wild fires, flooding, drought and some say that famine could be both a natural and a man-made caused disaster. However; because of their continuous increase in frequency and severity it is easy to see why these events have been compared to the characteristic of child birth. And amazingly the Bible is speaking to us in this season both as a warning and a comfort.
But the main point is stated in “Matthew 24: 8 which says: “All these are but the beginning of the birth pains”. Which lets us know that more is to come but in verse; 6 He lovingly encourages us and say: See that ye be not troubled:
Beloved, God doesn’t want us to fear but to continue to trust in Him, looking always toward the creator and not the created. For God will keep us in perfect peace if our minds are steadfast on Him (Isaiah 26:3). He will keep us safe no matter the circumstances or challenge we are facing or going through. For He is God. He will never leave us or forsake us. He is all knowing, all seeing, and all powerful. He who created all things is still in control, Amen! God bless you!
Selah!
God loves you and I do too! Happy Valentine’s Day!!

Supportive Poem:
Labor Pains
By Deborah Ann Belka
We all have,
labor pains . . .
we all at times
feel the strain.
But, we know,
God will send
more grace
till they end.
We all have,
periods of trouble
we all at times
have to struggle.
But, we know,
God will provide
more faith
in which to abide.
We all have,
new-birth pangs
but our hope
on Jesus hangs!
Beloved, If you want to develop a personal relationship with this Jesus or rededicate your life to Him, please read and embrace the scripture below, then repeat the brief prayer under the scripture
Scripture: Romans 10:9-10 KJV:
- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.
- For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
Brief prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead. I now repent of my sins and ask that you come into my life and save me, creating the vessel you desire for me to be in Jesus’s name, Amen!
