Many have asked, many have wondered “who is this Jesus”, that many referred to as “God, Savior and Lord”. Who is He? Many lonely, hopeless, despairing hearts want to know. Well for starters, my friend, I’m sure that He is many things to many people. To some He is that still soft voice that encourages people and directs their path when they are alone and at a “fork in the road of their lives”. He Shields them from see and unseen” danger and protects them when they are weak and wanting to give up, thinking that they just can’t go on. He encourages them and helps them to see the light that makes them strong with His “unlimited mercy and “standing grace”. He is “never late”. “He is always on time.” To some He is that sweet peace that rocks them to sleep at night that so many others crave but find it as elusive as the grave.
Still to some, He is that mother, father, sister, brother, friend all rolled into one. For the Bible says that He came “to mend the broken hearted” and to “set the captives free”. Therefore, my brothers, my sisters, my friends, this “Jesus” is the only true wonderful, matchless, loving God, Savior and friend. Jesus is many things to many people. As for me, He is and will always be everything. Because He loves me and saved me in spite of myself, my imperfections, bad decisions or just being me. He is our creator and He is sovereign.” He is all knowing” “All powerful”, and He has the ability to be everywhere at once.
He is far More than a name or a person. Jesus is a spiritual, unseen force of unconditional love, forgiveness, mercy , grace and truth. All contained in the sovereign second person of our “Triune God”. He is a spirit, not flesh and blood but the bare essence of light, guidance and eternal life itself. He whom we really should strive to emulate and reflect in our thoughts and daily lives. Jesus, Jesus, there is no sweeter name that can deliver souls and take away the darkness, pain and misery of sin .
Brothers and sisters please listen and follow through, This Jesus is coming again one day soon and all of us will have to give an account of our thoughts, our actions and deeds or lack thereof. Therefore, I pray that you will see the need to seek this Jesus out for yourself, invite Him into your life and allow Him to set you free in every area of your life and to give you the peace, the joy and change that you have been missing. Then He will bless you to be a blessing that through His grace you will be able to help set others free as well. Then they will start to seek just like you and I “who is this Jesus”? for just like His unconditional love, mercy and grace are boundless and unlimited, so is He. You can’t put Him in a box or try to figure Him out.

Jesus and his disciples went on to the villages around Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked them, “Who do people say I am?”
They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, one of the prophets.”
“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.”
Supportive Poem:
Who is this Jesus?
By Michael P. Johnson
Who’s this Jesus, men speak about?
Was He God’s Son and heir?
Did He arise to end man’s doubt?
And endless life to share
Is He whom Jews are waiting for?
Is He The Living Lord
Is He The Key to Heaven’s Door?
Man’s hope and great reward
Is He a myth or fairy tale?
Some legend from afar
Is He The One that cannot fail?
God’s Bright & Morning Star
Conflicts and wars have long been fought
Not few in hope would die
Many have heard the true report
Yet still we wonder why
Life’s great question life’s great reply
Life’s source and flowing stream
Who lived to live for death to die
Through righteousness supreme
In Him we live we love and pray
Acquainted with sorrow
Placing our hope in Him today
Guarantees tomorrow
The day for which our knees now bend
Our aim our final goal
Through which our lives today depend
Pledging our precious soul
Till God’s revealed in perfect sight
The fruit of all our love
Upon a cloud of brilliant white
And calls His bride above

Scripture: Romans 10:9-10 KJV:
- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.
- For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
Brief prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead. I now repent of my sins and ask that you come into my life and save me, creating the vessel you desire for me to be in Jesus’s name, Amen!
