The Bible says “that in the last days perilous times shall come” (2nd Timothy 3:1). “News Flash”! Hope this doesn’t come as a surprise my friend, but we are already there. Yes, we are already living in an outrageous, dark, never seen before evil, inhumane, fierce, demonic, uncertain, treacherous, deceitful, immoral, dangerous, shameless and perilous time.

The Bible also states that “the love of many shall wax cold” (Matthew 24:12-13). Friend, sad to say, the world is filled with countless morally corrupt, vile, angry, cold hearted, selfish people unable to love or allow themselves to be loved. Many are like stone (void of natural affection), unable to experience normal feelings. And from such beings comes horrible, inhuman acts of violence, revenge, rage and massacres of all kind against all that is good, honest, true and righteous.

The Bible vividly speaks of the “signs of times” (Matthew 16:2-3) that we should look for in these last days and also encourages us to be diligent in our daily walk with others and especially with the Lord. For that is where your peace (Isaiah 26:3-4) will come in and during any storm of life. Since we don’t know when His glorious rapture or return will take place just remain faithful, trusting and being diligent not focusing on these perilous times around us but keeping our eyes steadfast on Jesus.

Jesus doesn’t want us to consume ourselves or trouble ourselves with these perilous times. Yes, we should and we must watch as well as pray but always keep our hearts, mind and spirit on Him (the alpha and omega of life, Revelation 22:13). For He who is able to control the wind and the sea, gave sight to the blind, heal the sick and breathed life back into the bodies of many whom death had ravaged and tried to steal away. He is surely able to control every minute and second of these perilous times and nothing will ever happen out of His perfect or permissive will.

God doesn’t want us to be surprised, afraid or worried by these perilous times but rejoice and know that He is coming soon and that He will never leave us or forsake us.

Be Bless in Jesus Name! Selah!

Supporting Scriptures:

2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Luke 12:55-56 KJV
And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass. Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

Supportive Poem:

Perilous Times

By Robert Fultz

We live in times of danger, now
More love for self than God, men vow
Covetous, boasters, fierce and proud
Arrogant, full of pride and loud.

The Bible said we’d be this way
Unthankful men, who never pray
Disobedience rules today
Unholy men have lost their way.

Traitors, pleasure lovers, we
Have lost the faith, humility;
Yet most men say they trust in God
Have we begun to feel His rod?

With all the tragedies around
And little fear of God is found
Men have made themselves a god
And cannot see that something’s odd.

Beloved, If you want to develop a personal relationship with this Jesus or rededicate your life to Him, please read and embrace the scripture below, then repeat the brief prayer under the scripture

Scripture: Romans 10:9-10 KJV:

  • That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.
  • For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

Brief prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead. I now repent of my sins and ask that you come into my life and save me, creating the vessel you desire for me to be in Jesus’s name, Amen!
