Happy belated Mother’s Day to all mothers everywhere!!
Praise Jesus, we have just finished our annual “Mother’s Day” Celebration. A day that has been set aside to acknowledge and thank all mothers for their amazing sacrifice, dedication, hard work, and unconditional love that they give so freely as mothers. A love that is created to reflect the tender, sensitive, discerning, healing, restoring, gracious, merciful and nurturing side of god’s love and the “many sides of mother-hood”.
Being a mother is far more than just a title, a position, or a job. Being a mother is “a divine calling” by God to not only bring children into the world but to instill, teach, and mirror Jesus to them. The one who created the world, so that his presence will continually shine in and through them for the world to see.
So, as the roses withered, and the gifts are put away. God wants all of us to please don’t forget. Please remember this day. A day that he has blessed and allowed to specially acknowledge, honor and showcase the many sides of mother-hood. And as you experience each side. I pray that you will be able to see and feel a little heaven on earth and an abundance of the Master’s all seeing, all knowing and all-powerful presence that causes mothers to be able to reflect him. Those who are willing to really be true mothers and not just an avenue to bring life into the world. But to nurture and to pour into that life until it is able to stand on its own.
Supporting Scriptures:
Proverbs 31:31 KJV
Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
Supportive Poem:
Mothers
by Patricia Adderley
Mothers are a precious gift
Sent to us from above.
They nurture us, take care of us
And give us all their love.
They feed us and teach us
Every day of our lives.
They sing us to sleep
And tuck us in at night.
They support us in all we do
And pray for us each day.
They always put us first
And help us find our way.
No matter how much I mess up,
She will always be there
Because she loves unconditionally
And, for me, will always care.
Scripture: Romans 10:9-10 KJV:
- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.
- For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
Brief prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead. I now repent of my sins and ask that you come into my life and save me, creating the vessel you desire for me to be in Jesus’s name, Amen!
Beloved, if you have just said the above prayer. I want to welcome you into the Family of God and send you some free material to help you in your faith walk, so please email me immediately at bpack@bobigenepack.org, to share your life-changing decision that will last for all eternity.
