Jesus, the third person of the trinity and our obedient sacrificial lamb who graciously and willing gave up his life so that we could have ours in abundance. That abundant life today, here and now on earth and for all eternity to spend with him. Yes, my friend Jesus is real. He is a spirit, He lives with-in us, He is not physically walking the earth but if you reach out to him with a genuine true repentive heart, he will be there for you. Then for sure you will know that he is real. You don’t have to earn his love or help, or be a so call good person or even a so called not so good person. As David states in Psalm 51:17 “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and contrite heart”. Then stand back and see that Jesus will take it from there and you will know that he is real because you will have experienced his power, sovereignty and him as Lord and savior as well as friend. Then truly you will smile and say; “yes, He is real”!
You don’t have to see him, hear him or even sense his presence to know that he is real. Once you have totally given your life to him by faith and follow his lead you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is real because like a protective mother and a strong father he will always be there for you even before you ask for help. Because he loves you and because he knows what we need before we do. He is all knowing, all powerful and always presence.
Not even because the local pastor says so. Or even the Bible itself which saturates and proclaims with clear evidence that Jesus Christ is real. Jesus is real, simply because he is. He is real in spirit and truth and he lives within each one of his believers.
He is the Alpha (the beginning) and the Omega (the end). He is the fiber that connects and blends the old and New Testament that rolls out the red carpet with an invitation that no one should ever refuse. And by faith accept the invitation and become part of the family of God, thus becoming a new creature then yes, you will be able and clearly see and believe that “Yes, Jesus is real”.
Supporting Scriptures:
Romans 1:20 KJV
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
John 4:24 KJV
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Supportive Poem:
Living Sacrifice
by T. Shepherd
See Jesus to me is strength as strong
as the crashing of the waves of the greatest
ocean capable of anything
he is the love you feel when all else
has failed he is the light house in the storm
The crown of thorns endured the cross and
crucifixion for our sins, the lamb the final sacrifice
to rise from hell and love us regaurdless of anything
we do to him,
Driven by grace he shows us faith
love with no regret a reason to hold your head up high
even when you feel like you want to die
he is our living sacrifice and our comfort in the storm the one
I love forever more.
Scripture: Romans 10:9-10 KJV:
- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.
- For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
Brief prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead. I now repent of my sins and ask that you come into my life and save me, creating the vessel you desire for me to be in Jesus’s name, Amen!
