If you were to ask the average Follower of Jesus what does the word “surrender”, means to them as a Christian what do you think most would say? Well from my experience, many would first look at you kind of puzzled, like why are you asking this question etc. While others may respond quickly and say; it means “giving up control of self or something”.
Beloved, let me assure you that the “act” and the subject of “Surrender” is crucial for a Christian. Because I truly believe it is a foundational decision and a required action on the part of the believer in order to survive and thrive as a Christian.
Beloved, God has created us with what I would like to refer to as a “Spiritual void” within all of us. That nothing or no one else can fill except Him. He is our “GPS” for life on “this Christian Journey”. And the “Bible is our daily living spiritual food, guide, and nonreplaceable Manual” for life.
Therefore, if that is the case, all ministers and Clergy of the true Christian Faith, should as often as possibly teach and encourage their people to “Surender” themselves and all that concerns them to Jesus every day. Not once and done. But every day from the depth of their being” They should Surender all to Jesus”, become His disciple, learn of Him and commit to doing His will and not theirs.
Jesus, the “second person of the Trinity” and the “son of God”, vividly gave us example after example that He was here basically “on an assignment” to “Set the Captives Free” out of love and obedience from the Father.
However, in order to accomplish God’s will in any capacity, one must decrease to self, abide in Jesus daily and live a life that is Christ centered, focusing on His will and purpose. As well as to keep themselves bathed in prayer, repent and to sincerely ask God to take control of the driving wheel of their life and to closely follow His lead.
Bless You and Thank You, for Visiting with me today. May the Spirit of the Living Jesus be with you and Yours today and every day !
Please come again soon!

Supporting Scriptures:
John 15:4-5 KJV
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Isaiah 26:3 KJV
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Supportive Poem:
Surrender To Jesus
by Adams King
The world is lost
It people are blind
O! Blind Bartimaeus
Cry out to Christ
Aren’t you tired
being in darkness
The preacher preaches
and wisdom calls
Who ever listens
should be wise in heart
Be the doer not the hearer
and embrace the narrow way
While sunrise marks a start
Sunset consoles the end
Tomorrow might be too late
Surrender to Jesus today
Scripture: Romans 10:9-10 KJV:
- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.
- For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
Brief prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead. I now repent of my sins and ask that you come into my life and save me, creating the vessel you desire for me to be in Jesus’s name, Amen!
Beloved, if you have just said the above prayer. I want to welcome you into the Family of God and send you some free material to help you in your faith walk, so please email me immediately at bpack@bobigenepack.org, to share your life-changing decision that will last for all eternity.
