John 3:16 is a scripture that is very familiar to most Christians. They know it and can quickly recite it, or quote it quicker than you can ask them to say it. But I wonder how many ever really think about the depths, length, heights and “power of that kind of love” that the scripture is referring to. That kind of sacrificial love that has power to change lives, saves souls, heal and deliver from any kind of obstacle the enemy throws at it.
I’m talking unconditional love where no situation or circumstance is too dark, too deep or too daunting for God’s strong hand to reach down, change things and make a new. Therefore, no matter what it looks like in your life, don’t give up. Please don’t quit! For God is greater! He is greater than any sickness, any rejection, any lies, disappointments, betrayal, lost of job, grief of any kind, lack of money or provisions. Just take “baby step faith” and yield yourself completely to him. Asking Him to help you, then trust Him and He surely will see you through. Please don’t focus on the issue or the problem or what you can see. Focus on the one who is able to fix the problem or issue. Because He loves us and promise to perfect that which concerns us (Psalm 138:8). He is able to correct all things because He loves us and what He does is done out of love for us.
His timing and ways of correcting things maybe far different than the way we may image or want them to be. But He and His power working love will never fail. My mother use to say: “Jesus may not come when you want Him to, but He is always on time”. Because God’s ways are not like our ways and His love is not based on feelings or emotions like ours, His love doesn’t change like human love does. His love is always unconditional, unselfish and is always focus on the wellbeing, purpose and needs of His people. That is the kind of agape love that can work miracles.
Can you imagine any parent willfully agreeing to send their one and only child on an assignment to stand in the place of and pay a debt for someone else that would take their life? Most would absolutely agree that is just too deep and unimaginable for anyone to digest. Fact is. no matter how much thought you would give it, as a human you would find it hard to see or really understand the God kind of love that would make a decision like that.
It is beyond the scope of our natural human mind. Because of that, Jesus wants us to “don’t yield to our own understanding” but turn to Him and trust His miracle working power of love. Because God’s love for us is not like human love. It is powerful and pure and will never change or abundant us. Therefore, there is no need to give up, throw in the towel, hurt yourself, or others. Just know for sure that Jesus is with you. And as the Bible states “He creates new mercies’ every day”. So please don’t underestimate the power of God’s love”. To banish evil and to set the “captives free”.
Amen! Selah!

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Brief prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead. I now repent of my sins and ask that you come into my life and save me, creating the vessel you desire for me to be in Jesus’s name, Amen!
